It was emotional and gut-wrenching, the sort of book that made me just go, "fuuuuuck" by the time I got to the last page. Reading your review however, I don't think I'd be disappointed. :)

You could argue the point wasn't what the story was, but the media response to it. The super injunction-style avoidance of the subject on TV while everyone discussed it online and even the sarky Guardian live blog jokes - it was all satirising...
